What is XerPro and how does it work?
- Product – Three dual-function interactive panels with a total of 21 interactive vibration-activated, LED-lit, targets. One computer game-driven Master Control Box with Program Selector buttons. Remote control (2). Ball kit. Two programming modes (see below).
- Basic Concept – Players randomly or sequentially hit moving lit targets with hands, feet, beanbags, foam noodles, and playground, medicine or sports balls, working individually or as teams to achieve their best score. Score accumulates with each new target hit. In Training Mode, each outside panel competes with the other, tracking results to measure progress and determine the highest scoring team – until the next game. In Performance mode, players and teams are simply trying to achieve their best score.
- Advanced Concept – Levels in both programming modes are programmed to progressively make play more challenging with smaller target groups or fewer individual targets. Targets shrink in size and score over time if not hit. Colors and numbers can be called out and will become part of future software upgrades.
- Programming: Group Training Mode – In Training mode, the two outside panels function independently, identical to a two station XerTrainer system, with the middle panel turned off other than to display game, level and time information. Hundreds of different ways to play four primary games – Rally Wall, Chase the Target, Play Tune, Knock the Lights Out – with 16 additional levels for a total of 20 different games. Time clock can be set for ten seconds to four minutes.
- Programming: Performance Mode – In Performance mode, all three panels become integrated together into a 12' wide, 21 target system. Chase the Target with a playground or sports ball now requires much more lateral movement, challenging users individually or in groups to hit the target, run to retrieve the rebound, then hit another target. Hundreds of different ways to play six standard games with 36 additional levels, 42 total. Two games, Kwikball and Tic-Tac-Toe, are competition-based, with players alternating turns. Program manual included with purchase.
